Pascal Meichtry

Welcome to my website!

I am a Research Economist at the Banque de France and hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Lausanne. Previously I worked as an intern at the Bank of England, the Swiss National Bank, and the KOF Swiss Economic Institute.

My research interests are in Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Applied Macroeconometrics. I am particularly interested in the role of household heterogeneity and information frictions for the transmission of monetary policy. My work also studies the effects of unconventional monetary policy tools on inequality and the macroeconomy.

You can learn more about my research here.
